Practical Informations
When?
The school starts on Monday, June 16 (morning), and ends on Friday, June 20 (afternoon).
Where?
- Location : Université Paris-Saclay, France’s largest research campus, situated 20 km south of Paris.
- Lectures and seminars : Institut de Chimie Physique – Building 349 – Room Magat (15 avenue Jean Perrin, 91405 Orsay).
- Hands-on Sessions : Conducted in various laboratories across the campus. Clear guidance and instructions will be provided.
Public transportation:
- From downtown Paris : take the RER B suburban train to the ‘Orsay Ville’ station. Tickets for the RER can be purchased at stations).
- From Orly Airport : take the Orlyval tram to‘Antony’ station, then trasfer to the RER B train to ‘Orsay Ville’ station.
- From Charles de Gaulle Airport : the RER B train provides direct access from the airport to ‘Orsay Ville’ station, offering the most convenient north-south connection across Paris.
Accommodation
Participants have the option to stay at Residhome La Guyonnerie, conveniently located near the campus.
- A block of rooms will be reserved for attendees.
- Accommodation is available from Sunday evening (June 15) to Saturday morning (June 21).
Room Options:
- Shared Double Room: Two separate single beds. Please indicate your preferered roommate's name when applying if sharing.
- Single Room: Private accommodation.
Special Requests: For additional nights or specific accommodation needs, please mention them during the application process. Availability will be confirmed upon acceptance.
Registration fees
Registration is available only for applicants whose submissions are accepted.
What’s Included:
- Meals: Lunch and dinner (Monday to Friday afternoon).
- Participation in all lectures, seminars, workshops, and hands-on sessions.
Fee Options:
- 200 €: Without accommodation.
- 300 €: With accommodation in a shared double room.
- 550 €: With accommodation in a single room.
